Ray and his team catered our wedding at Homestead Meadows in Appleton earlier this month. We are absolutely thrilled that we went with Valley Liquor. They set up the entire bar, were punctual, reasonably priced, and accommodated little needs that we had! Prices are a little higher, but people keep returning. Why? Two reasons- the service and the location. It's conveniently located near downtown Little Chute so it's in a great spot for quick in-and-out visits. The service is top notch. If you see Ray, one of the owners, be ready for a hearty handshake and friendly conversation. Kind of what USED TO BE the normal way of business back in the day. Brandon behind the counter will be sure you're finding what you need and they always help carry out larger orders to your vehicle. Also, "free sample Fridays" is a chance to try it before you buy it. Usually two beer selections and one or two wine selections are on a self serve table for you to enjoy. Cigarettes, soda, a few chips and snacks, and a few party favors and glasses for that last minute item you need for the party! Also book your wedding here, order just about anything in a keg, or use their beer catering service for your next function!
However, we did run into issues with the pricing. We had some "bill shock" when we received our final invoice. Prior to the wedding, all of the information was conveyed via phone conversations and when asked about prices directly, only round answers and past figures were provided verbally. Further, it wasn't apparent in any conversations that the company charges you to "rent" their equipment. Last, the cost of having everything piece meal (we paid MSRP for alcohol, but then we were charge for consumables, bar tending, set-up, rental of the equipment, etc.) seemed like a cheaper option, but when considered to the "price per head" model of other vendors, it ended up being more expensive.
Valley Liqour is one of the best places to shop. Top notch customer service provided by Ray, Paul, and the rest of the crew. These guys are a blast to work with. Need a beverage caterer? Done. With your one stop shop for beer, liqour and snacks valley does it all with ease. Never in my life have I met such honest and genuinely decent people like these guys. I highly recommend their place to be your place to shop.
I used Valley Liquor to cater the beverages at my wedding and I absolutely cannot say enough about the phenomenal service and great selection! Ray worked with us to provide the types of soda, alcohol, and mixers that we wanted to have at a cost that worked for us. We could also limit access to certain bottles so that only bride/groom or bridal party was allowed to drink a particular beverage. The bartenders that night were great and kept up with our crowd. They even offered to help when some family and friends were cleaning up wedding decorations! Very reasonable prices for catering, and the best part was - if it wasn't opened, we didn't pay for it! All the open bottles came to us at the end of the night to take home.
Valley Liquor was a one-stop shop. We really enjoyed working with Ray and his team of great bar tenders. The customer service was outstanding. Ray went above and beyond when he found canned beer from our favorite breweries.
