Comfortable and spacious room for a reasonable price. Guest laundry only $1 per wash or dry. Hot tub, pool, and water slide. Staff is always willing to go above and beyond.
Disappointed. Was looking forward yo relaxing in the pool this weekend. Luckily i happened to look at a recent review on here to see that the pool area was shut down. I called to confirm and then canceled my reservation. I would have had some very upset kids if we would have showed up and found out the pool was closed. A phone call or email would have been nice, or even an update online.
I booked a room a couple weeks ago for Friday December 8th. It is my son's 5th birthday and he and his friends were so excited to swim and sleep in the hotel. I called this morning to ask a few questions and was told the pool would be closed that day for maintenance. Thank goodness I called because now I have 6 days to replan a very disappointed little boys birthday. I feel the hotel should have taken responsibility and called guests. Very upsetting. Had I not called I would have had no idea and came to a hotel with children ready to swim and no pool. I'm extremely disappointed. I understand maintenance happens but it was clearly known about and not communicated. The employee on the phone who cancelled my reservation was not rude, but not at all apologetic about the situation.
Perfect place to bring family. It has a mini water park, hot tub, pool, and free breakfast. Also, they have rooms you can rent for special events.
Easy to find, especially coming from Milwaukee. Space for large families made out mini vacations enjoyable. The rooms were very clean. The waterpark is small but more than adequate for younger children and toddlers. Music choice in the lobby wasn't very family friendly, as they were playing George Michael's "I Want Your Sex", words and all not just the instrumental. I was a little put off by that. Will definitely stay again when in Appleton.
